This transaction has lots of ups and downs. We were in contract for approximately 6 weeks. The original asking price was $469,000. Our Buyers had their eye on it, however it was a little over what they were comfortable paying for a full fixer-upper. This home needed a lot of work. We saw the Listing Agent reduced the price to $445,000. At that time, we decided to view the property. We submitted our offer, which was less than the $445K asking price (I won’t go into all the back and forth on our counters), however by the time we closed, the new negotiated sale price came to $410,000 with a $3,000 Seller Credit. This Seller Credit went towards closing costs. At M² we do all we can to gauge the temperature of the real estate market, and use that information to get the best deal for our clients!
